Data protection

The protection of your personal data is very important to us.

For this reason, we process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Austrian Telecommunications Act (TKG) 2003). In this data protection information sheet, we provide you with information about the most important aspects of data processing in connection with our website.

Contacting us
When you contact us using the form on our website or by email, the data you provide are stored by us for six months so that we can process your request and deal with any subsequent queries. We will not pass on your data without your consent.

Cookies
Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device by your browser. They do not cause any damage. We use cookies to make our website user-friendly. Some cookies continue to be stored on your device until you delete them. This enables us to recognise your browser the next time you visit our website. If you do not want this to happen, you can change the settings on your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only permit this in the individual case. Deactivating cookies can cause the functionality of our website to be restricted.

Web analysis
Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. This service uses cookies which enable us to analyse the use of the website by its users. The information generated is transmitted to the host servers and stored there.

You can prevent this by setting your browser so that no cookies are stored. We have concluded a corresponding agreement on commissioned data processing with the host. Your IP address is recorded, but immediately pseudonymised. This means that only rough localisation is possible.

Your data are processed on the basis of the statutory provisions of § 96 (3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act (TKG) and Art. 6 (1) a) of the General Data Protection Regulation GDPR (consent) and/or Art. 6 (1) f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest). Our interest within the meaning of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our services and of our web presence. Because the privacy of our users is important to us, user data are pseudonymised. User data are preserved for a period of 24 months.

Your rights
As a matter of principle, you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data constitutes a violation of data protection law, or that your rights under data protection law have been violated in any other way, you can file a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, the supervisory authority is the Datenschutzbehörde (Data Protection Authority).
